SuNDAY CORPORATE WORSHIP

We gather in person on Sunday mornings to celebrate Christ through His Word. We believe in the expository preaching of the whole counsel of God and thus normally preach book by book. We believe the meaning of fellowship is not donuts, but rather partnering together for the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

Young children and elementary - high school students have a separate Sunday service. Youth also have a gathering each Sunday and Friday, with special events throughout the year. Learn more about our Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Pastor Dan eum, Heather, Zane & Sawyer

Pastor Dan is originally from Maryland/DC. His parents immigrated to the US from Korea in the 80’s. He attended the University of Maryland (go Terps!) and completed his M.Div at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Dan has been serving as Unity’s pastor since 2014. He loves Christ, family, Unity family, DC sports, & KBBQ!

YOUTH MINISTER Justin Lee

Justin was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to St. Louis, MO at the age of seven. He ended up in Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University (c/o 2022). He committed to Unity Baptist Church as a junior and served as a shepherd during the beginnings of Unity’s college house church ministry.

Now, Justin has been leading our Youth Ministry since 2024 bi-vocationally. He loves to joke around with the youth students and describes himself as a “good, but now retired” high school basketball player.

His mission is for the students to spiritually grow up to be strong and courageous in the Lord. And in doing so, his desire is to feel as Jacob did- who “served seven years to get Rachel, but they only seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her” (Genesis 29:20).

May his days, months, and years of serving God and His children feel like nothing to him because of his love for God!
